Do You Ever Wish?

Do you ever wish?

Trust me I do....More than you can imagine

You wish you lived in a duplex instead of a flat.
You wish you had your car instead of taking the bus
You wish you had a plasma instead of a '21' inch tv
You wish you travelled to the US and the Uk instead of Ogun State and Ilorin
You wish yourparents were rich and popular like them Lagos celebrity people.
You wish you could bring out our phone in public...with pride
You wish you were just a liitle bit finer
You wish you were just a little bit taller
You wish you you could afford to reacharge your phone everyday
You wish you could were original Gucci and Prada instead of 'Tailo lo ran' and 'Yaba Picks'
You wish your friends were cool and popular
You wish you were schooling abroad than in Nigeria
You wish you could just fit in...

As I said earlier, If it's a wish, trust me, I have wished it. But is there anything wrong in having all the good things? Is there anything wrong in fitting in with the rich and the upperclass? There is nothing wrong. Trust me.

But I want you to know something, there is a time for everything. Now I know you really want to be part of the 'IN' crowd. You want every good thing life has to offer. But no matter how cliche this sounds it is d truth...Rome wasnt built in a day.

I just want to encourage anyone feeling like this that, God has got a perfect plan for your life, for m life, for our lives. And because I know my worth and I know who I am and what I will become and where God is taking me. Homie, i dont need to wish ANYMORE. I'll just keep living my life, entering the 'danfo', calling at the payphone, sleeping with no light with an understanding that my latter will be greater than my former. I know that soon, you'll be saying my name, soon, I will have all the things I need and that God will use me to bles others. So instead of wishing, I know that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:3-5).

So live your life, be thankful for the little you have, God who did it before will do it again. Live your life. See you at the TOP! Happy New Year 2009

Trotcha!

  1. I guess we all wish...its in our nature to want everything we think is better than what we have, what we are and how far we've gone.
Great blog...I'm almost officially a fan!
