Hey y'all!!!

How was the weekend guys? Mine was OK... Saturday was kind of a drag though... all I wanted to do, I wasn't able to so it was just there but Sunday, that was an amazing day. Tolu Akanni celebrated his 21st birthday and it rocked!!! You should have been there...

Sunday night... not so good... I had a fight with my roommate and I wished it did not go the way it went but the deed has been done.. I got to move on, don't you agree???

I know the plans...

I love the scripture where God assures me that His thoughts and plans for me are of good and not of evil, to gimme a future and a hope... you have no clue what that means to me...

I looked over my life this morning and I realized that I have so much to be thankful for... I want you to just take time out and thank him for YOUR life...

My sudden love for Hip Hop

I was talking to my sister a while back and she found it hard to believe that I was into hip hop. I mean I am more of an R&B kind of guy but I guess people change. People have come out and gone Hip Hop is of the devil an all but have you listened to good Christian hip hop? Seriously? Those guys go harder than most people who know how to cast stones. Hip hop is more than music, it is kind of like poetry. It is for the intelligent as you most times have to read between the lines. it is not beans to drop sixteen bars and make complete sense... I love hip hop .. .and most especially, I love hip hop that gives God all the glory.

Here are some of the hip hop artists I am feeling and yes, they are all Christian but remember what I said earlier, i love hip hop that gives God all the glory.

This is Sho Baraka... His album Turn My Life Up is a blessing in my life... I cannot wait for the sequel...

DJ Maj is awesome... I love his mixtapes....

Everyone Knows I love Group 1 Crew... This particular album rocks!!!

Even though he is on sabbatical.. his music is VERY deep... Miss you Da' truth

I never really like Lecrae but after he dropped Rebel...man, I had to love him...

They never disappoint and the new album dropping this year is gonna be off da chain!! WP for life!

OK... First he is my boss... second, his music is very deep and to think he is a youth pastor...

Applejaxx song's are very upbeat (which I like) and they always have a scriptural message attached

So those are few of the guys I like and I am gonna drop my own mixtape soon too

What exactly is wrong with Avatar????

I just have to ask this question becasue I need to know. I watched the movie and I LOVED IT!!! And so did most people (I think)... so right now I am curious to know cause apparently a few people including Russian Communist, US Marines and even the Vatican are not like the movies biggest fans... So to all wo have seen the movie...What is wrong with it??? Am I just fooled by the hype, I mean the Vatican says the movie encourages the worship of nature??? So opinions people...

BTW, I have two new blogs I want you guys to follow. The first one is Anani Speaks and it is my spoken word blog (Yes, I am now an upcoming Spoken word artist) and the second one is The Eden Project. Now, the thing about The Eden Project is that the blog is strictly gospel as the aim is to find our way abck to God's original plan for hummanity. Like sheep, we have strayed and we want to know what God's plan was for mankind before man fell in the garden... The Bible makes it clear that after God saw all that was created He said it was good... why then did He later regret creating man... Also, we know Jesus as come and all but the truth is are we living the life that Jesus died for us to have. These are some of the questtions we intend to answer with this blog...

Swagger Like Him (Introducing Anani)

Hey guys, what's good? Most of you have been wondering who what Anani is doing in my name and all... So here is the deal, I am starting a career as a Spoken Word artist and Anani is my performance name... I feel it is what God is calling me to do so I am gonna do it. Watch out for some of my work on the Volume 2 of the Emunah Mixtape. Here are the lyrics to my first major work. Hope you like it...

Nobody has got swagger like Him,

Not on earth, not even in the heavens.

Do you want to know why?

 The earth is His and the fullness thereof,

All that is in it is sustained through Him.

The mountains declare His greatness,

The trees stand in awe of His majesty,

So I ask again who has got swagger like Him?

I searched everywhere, anywhere,

The angelic host proclaim “Holy is our God”.

So I say that it is impossible to have swagger like Him,

He was there before the word was formed,

And He will be there when the word fades away.

Who can have swagger like Him?

Among the gods, among principalities, among powers, among men,

No one, absolutely no one.

He is I AM THAT I AM,

Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,

The First and the Last,

He lavishes His love on those who love and obey Him,

He is a gracious and merciful King,

He makes all things new and beautiful too,

He is love, giver of the law, the Judge who us mighty to save,

The One who is, who always was and who is still to come,

The Almighty One, the Ancient of Days,

The King of swagger.
