It's been a long time...

Hey blogville,

Music Playing- Stacie Orrico’s Beautiful Awakening

How is it?? What has been happening??? It’s been almost a week since I was here last and honestly, I missed y’all.

Nothing major has happened besides the fact that I am super excited that this Friday is The Experience concert. May I add here that this concert is the biggest gospel concert in THE WORLD (I think)? Anyways, I am excited because I know it’s going to be major fun… and I am going to see Mr. Kirk Franklin LIVE!!! (I hope he sings ‘How It Used to be’. I am so in love with that song). Also, Friday is the day we go home. Our school is closing on Friday and I can’t wait to go home. It has been an amazing year and I am thankful to God for how things have gone. I also will be going to see that “2012” movie that everyone has been screaming about. They say the movie is based on the prophecy by some woman that the world is coming to an end in 2012. I am not saying anything. Lemme just go and see the movie first before I start drawing any conclusions.

I saw the movie for “Dead Like Me” and although it was cool seeing an older version of Jasmine Guy, the movie was just twisted… yes it is good entertainment but plesase… I mean their version of the creation story is so excessive…

Finally, I got to watch GREASE!!!! That movie is like a classic and I have been dying to watch it and I did. I am not going to review the movie but all I know is that it was good to see a very young John Travolta… I need to see more classics so if you have an idea to how I can watch Gone with the Wind, Casablanca and My Fair Lady… holler me.

Thanks to Blogratti… Here are my plans for the week

1. Spend time in constant communion with God (You don’t want to know what has been going on)

2. Submit the corrected versions of my chapters 1-3 before I go home

3. Get her phone number

4. Make Glory’s birthday on Wednesday and unforgettable one

5. Make sure our film blog is ready fro submission by Thursday

So those are my plans. I hope they all work out… till my next post….

Trotcha!!

PS: I also want to reduce my sugar intake and Trotcha is a word I formed and it means Wishing you love, peace and happiness.

The Plans & Thoughts I Have for you....

That is what I heard Him say to me clearly this morning... To think that I almost entered into trouble this morning and He pulled me out... He rescued me... Honestly... I am thankful... through it all the song that kept playing on my mind was Hillsong's This is our God. Amazing song there... I am in thankful mode right now... Thank you!!!

The lyrics to the song

Hillsong- This is our God

Your grace is enough
More than I need
And your word I will believe
I wait on You
You're near again
And you spirit make me new

And I will fall at your feet
I will fall at your feet
And I will worship you here

Your presence in me
Jesus left them there
By the power of your word
I am restored
I am redeemed
By your spirit I am free

And I will fall at Your feet
I will fall at your feet
And I will worship You here

The feeling You gave all for us
Surrendered Your life upon the cross
Great is the love brought up for all
This is our God

Lifted our life from death to life
Forever our God is glorified
Certain the king rescued the world
This is our God

And I will fall at Your feet
I will fall at Your feet
And I will worship You here

And I will fall at Your feet
I will fall at Your feet
And I will worship You here

Thanks again to everyone that reads Kiss &Tell... God bless you loads... To all bloggers... YADA deadline is tomorrow so hurry!!!

God bless you

Pursue the Virtue of Contentment

by Max Lucado

A businessman bought popcorn from an old street vendor each day after lunch. He once arrived to find the peddler closing up his stand at noon. “Is something wrong?” he asked.
A smile wrinkled the seller’s leathery face. “By no means. All is well.”
“Then why are you closing your popcorn stand?”
“So I can go to my house, sit on my porch, and sip tea with my wife.”
The man of commerce objected. “But the day is still young. You can still sell.”
“No need to,” the stand owner replied. “I’ve made enough money for today.”
“Enough? Absurd. You should keep working.”
The spry old man stopped and stared at his well-dressed visitor. “And why should I keep working?”
“To sell more popcorn.”
“And why sell more popcorn?”
“Because the more popcorn you sell, the more money you make. The more money you make, the richer you are. The richer you are, the more popcorn stands you can buy. The more popcorn stands you buy, the more peddlers sell your product, and the richer you become. And when you have enough, you can stop working, sell your popcorn stands, stay home, and sit on the porch with your wife and drink tea.”
The popcorn man smiled. “I can do that today. I guess I have enough.”
Wise was the one who wrote, “Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income” (Eccles. 5:10 NIV).
Don’t heed greed.
Greed makes a poor job counselor.
Greed has a growling stomach. Feed it, and you risk more than budget-busting debt. You risk losing purpose. Greed can seduce you out of your sweet spot.
Before you change your job title, examine your perspective toward life. Success is not defined by position or pay scale but by this: doing the most what you do the best.
Parents, give that counsel to your kids. Tell them to do what they love to do so well that someone pays them to do it.
A Love Worth GivingSpouses, urge your mate to choose satisfaction over salary. Better to be married to a happy person who has a thin wallet than a miserable person with a thick one. Besides, “a pretentious, showy life is an empty life; a plain and simple life is a full life” (Prov. 13:7 MSG).
Pursue the virtue of contentment. “Godliness with contentment is great gain” (1 Tim. 6:6 NIV). When choosing or changing jobs, be careful. Consult your design. Consult your Designer. But never consult your greed.

Asia Bibi, a 37-year-old Pakistani woman from the village of Ittanwali, was arrested by police on Friday, June 19, and faces possible blasphemy charges. Asia is the wife of 50-year-old Ashiq Masih, and their family is one of only three Christian families in a village of more than 1,500 families.

Many of the local women work on the farm of Muslim landowner Muhammad Idrees, including Asia. During their work many of the Muslim women have pressured Asia to renounce Christianity and accept Islam. In June, the pressure became especially strong.

On Friday, June 19, there was an intense discussion among the women about their faith, with the Muslim women telling Asia about Islam. Asia responded by telling them about her faith in Christ. Asia told the Muslim women Christ had died on the cross for our sins, then asked them what Mohammed had done for them, according to VOM sources. She told them Jesus is alive, but Mohammed is dead. “Our Christ is the true prophet of God,” she reportedly told them, “and yours is not true.”

Upon hearing this response the Muslim women became angry and began to beat Asia Bibi. Then some men came and took her and locked her in a room. They announced from mosque loudspeakers that she would be punished by having her face blackened and being paraded through the village on a donkey. Local Christians informed the police, who took Asia into custody before the Muslims could carry out their plan. She is currently being held at the police station in Nankana city. Christians there urged the police not to file blasphemy charges, but police claimed that they must go forward due to pressure from local Muslim leaders.

The Voice of the Martyrs urges Christians around the world to pray for Asia Bibi and her family. Further, we call on the Pakistani government to insure that the rights of Christians like Asia are protected.

Hillsong- Exceeding Joy
I have found exceeding joy,
Jesus answered when I called
this Name that has saved me,
pure love that embraced me.

Mercy, grace, eternal life.
Bought from darkness to His light.
While lost in my sin, He
raised me and made me live.

Chorus:
My soul magnifies the Lord,
my heart joys in God my Saviour,
for He lifts the lowly,
He's done great things for me.
I will sing, praising evermore,
He is mighty and Holy is His Name.

I will lift my head up high,
praising Jesus through each trial.
Though I have not seen Him,
I love Him completely.

I TOO HAPPYY!!!!

Cross Movement reacts to the Da T.R.U.T.H Situation

First, if you have not read the new kiss and tell installment... u better click here
OK... So Da' T.R.U.T.H went on leave due to moral indiscretion... (You can read about it here)
This is what Cross Movement had to say...

CMR's Da' T.R.U.T.H. Statement

Dear brothers and sisters in the faith,
This life is uncertain and refuses to leave us unchallenged.  The world we live in overflows with the sad stories of both sinners and unfortunately saints.  However, in the most unstable times, we can all be strengthened in this truth—that our God remains unchanged by our challenges, unaffected by our failures, and waits poised to help the repentant and contrite.
It is with tremendous sadness and humble disappointment that Cross Movement Records must inform you regarding the suspension of the promotion and forwarding of the artist, minister, and ministry of Da Truth, aka Emanuel Lambert Jr., due to recent findings of moral failure in his marriage.  It is the expressed ambition and demonstrated intent of this label to foster Christian leadership that utilizes the platforms of an artist or musician.  While obedience to the word of God is the high standard for all who name the name of Christ, for the Christian leader, the standards and the consequences are even greater.
We at CMR plead for your prayers for our brother Da Truth whom we sincerely love.  We also ask for your prayers for his wife, his family, his Pastor, his Elders and Church during this very hard time in their lives.  Again we charge ourselves, as well as you to remember Galatians 6:1-10 as we look to not only discipline, and in due time restore, but also “bear one another’s burden’s and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
In addition, we both thank and applaud Da Truth for his letter of confession found on his site, as well as ours.  We declare that in Da Truth’s case, in light of all the circumstances, in light of the authoritative stand by which he preached, and in the case of the Christian leader, this should be the commendable example of the responsible servant.  Though this may not be the requirement or charge of many, blessed are those who submit to the understanding that Christian leaders are accountable to the same degree that they are exalted.  Oh that the Church would witness leaders who are as courageous in the bad times, as they are in good times.  Da Truth once proclaimed (to the point of naming one of his albums) that his life was an “Open Book.”  It is CMR’s sincere prayer in the months and years to come, that the body of Christ and the world would be able to read new chapters that illustrate God’s incredible ability to rebuke, restore, reinstate and revitalize.  It is our belief that the real fruit of repentance occurs without condition or entitlement, as one patiently waits for the Lord’s refurbishment--something that an immediate and deliberate push back to the lights, stage and microphone could undermine.
Furthermore, in recent times and similar circumstances, it has been reported and published by certain media outlets that Cross Movement Records drops artists from its label for such things as what Truth has confessed.  We wish to state for the record that this is untrue and is a misunderstanding of past statements made by us which we apologize now for not being clearer.  When we state that we are “discontinuing the forwarding” of an artist, as we have done previously and are stating currently, we mean that we are rendering the person inactive and not separated from us.  Being that we do not have total authority over all the activities of a person/artist, we are just trying to express that if someone happens to see an artist still current and active in ministry during a  label recommended and church ordered down time, that we are not involved with the acceptance and promotion of such activity.  If ever there arises a reason for CMR and Da Truth (or any of our artists for that matter) to be separated, let us state now that it more than likely will have nothing to do with matters of this sort.
Lastly, we realize that many disagreed with our way of handling these matters in times past and many will do the same now.  Firstly, we would like to affirm that our actions and words then were, and at this present time are, not without accountability.  We have sought counsel from multiple Christian leaders and pastors who have painstakingly wrestled with us in the scriptures concerning these matters.  And though we refuse to engage in the fruitless tennis-volley style of debate through the media and over the internet, we would like to offer some of the scriptures that we have referenced.  Again, please keep in mind that it is the prerogative of this label to forward Christian leaders who also understand these expectations when they accept the platforms they are given.  Therefore, please read the following with this context in mind:  1 Cor. 5, 1 Tim. 3:1-13, 1 Tim. 5:17-24.  It is also our goal in the coming year to forward a fruitful format that will help bind those that are hurting, give understanding to those who are confused, and strengthen those who are trying to continue in the ministry for Christ.
In conclusion, with the untimely death of one of the original Cross Movement group members, Enock, aka Juan James (October 17, 2009), and the struggle to heal our brothers, 2009 has been the most trying, overwhelming, mentally, physically, and emotionally draining year for us to date.  Please continue to remember us in your prayers.  We would like to thank all those who have prayed for us and shown their support throughout this year.  It means more than can be expressed.  Though it is not our view in this matter to credit Satan for all of the adversity that has risen,  we are at the same time not ignorant of his schemes and how he would love to not only cripple leaders, but also discredit the whole of an entire Movement (past, present and future).  As before, even with all of the CMR Family's credibility at stake, we remain resolved at CMR along with all of its artists/ministers to continue steadfastly with the mission of making the message of the Cross known to the world.  Again, we ask for your prayers as we keep our hands to the plow, heal our wounded, and worship the God of our Salvation.  We remain Christ’s and your servant.
-Cross Movement Records

The YADA Website Works!!!

God bless you... The new issue comes out anytime soon so be on the look out

Peace

Meanwhile, Max Lucado blessed me with this today... Got it in my mail and I think you should read it too

God Does Big Things
with Small Deeds

by Max Lucado
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin” (Zech. 4:10 NLT).

Begin. Just begin! What seems small to you might be huge to someone else. Just ask Bohn Fawkes. During World War II, he piloted a B-17. On one mission he sustained flak from Nazi antiaircraft guns. Even though his gas tanks were hit, the plane did not explode, and Fawkes was able to land the plane.
On the morning following the raid, Fawkes asked his crew chief for the German shell. He wanted to keep a souvenir of his incredible good fortune. The crew chief explained that not just one but eleven shells had been found in the gas tanks, none of which had exploded.
Technicians opened the missiles and found them void of explosive charge. They were clean and harmless and with one exception, empty. The exception contained a carefully rolled piece of paper. On it a message had been scrawled in the Czech language. Translated, the note read: “This is all we can do for you now.”
A courageous assembly-line worker was disarming bombs and scribbled the note. He couldn’t end the war, but he could save one plane. He couldn’t do everything, but he could do something. So he did it.
God does big things with small deeds.
Against a towering giant, a brook pebble seems futile. But God used it to topple Goliath. Compared to the tithes of the wealthy, a widow’s coins seem puny. But Jesus used them to inspire us. And in contrast with sophisticated priests and powerful Roman rulers, a cross-suspended carpenter seemed nothing but a waste of life. Few Jewish leaders mourned his death. Only a handful of friends buried his body. The people turned their attention back to the temple. Why not?
What power does a buried rabbi have? We know the answer. Mustard-seed and leaven-lump power. Power to tear away death rags and push away death rocks. Power to change history. In the hands of God, small seeds grow into sheltering trees. Tiny leaven expands into nourishing loaves.
Small deeds can change the world. Sow the mustard seed. Bury the leaven lump. Make the call. Write the check. Organize the committee.
A Love Worth GivingMoses had a staff.
David had a sling.
Samson had a jawbone.
Rahab had a string.
Mary had some ointment.
Aaron had a rod.
Dorcas had a needle.
All were used by God.
What do you have?
God inhabits the tiny seed, empowers the tiny deed. He cures the common life by giving no common life, by offering no common gifts. Don’t discount the smallness of your deeds.

Message In The Music- Tonight by Group 1 Crew

SONG
Verse 1:
You had it all planned out, you and him together in a big white house, happy ever afters all you dreamed about nothing could be better cuz, you knew that you could make it through any weather but, things changed when he moved away, you were all by yourself through the lonely days, all you could do was pray, then the phone call came (I think we’re heading separate ways) your heart stopped, and you dropped to your knees god why, is all this happening to me I, understand everything’s not perfect but you’re there through the worst of it, and lord I hear you say

(Chorus)
Tonight let every tear you cry and everything wrong inside, bring you to me and I will be your lullaby cause even in the hardest times you only need to realize, what you mean to me so let me be your lullaby

Verse2:
I knew a boy from the Southside, him and his friend were inseparable, hung out all day watched football games wherever one went the other would go, but one night he got a phone call, something happened that brought tears to his face. There was an accident we tried to save your friend but it was too late, Why is all this happening, I just lost my only friend, I need to know I’m not alone, I can hear you gently whisper

(Chorus)

Verse 3:
They say if life gives you lemons make lemonade, bitter sweet is the tune it likes to play were all instruments played on a different day like a symphony like a symphony, we’re born married into life and there’s no divorce, sometimes we’re powerless to change the course and the innocent pay the cost, we all mourn the loss, we all mourn the loss

MESSAGE
The song is an amazing song and it talks about how even though we go through pains, trials and tribulations; God is there ready to take care of us. He is ready to comfort us because he promised us in is Word that he will comfort those that mourn in Zion. That is an amazing consolation to me, to know that no matter what I go through or that no matter what comes my way, I am confident that he is there with me all through.

Isa 66:12 says “For thus says the Lord: Behold I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; then you will be nursed, you will be carried on her hip and trotted (lovingly bounced up and down) on her (God’s maternal) knees” The Amplified Bible.

You see here that we have no reason to worry, to fret, and to be anxious. God has got it all covered.

Personally, I think for the mere fact that he is the first African American president of the United States of America...that is ALL the achievement he needs... He is trying and I think y'all should cut the guy some slack... I mean there are presidents who are not even doing ANYTHING at all!!!

But hey.. what do i know??? I am just a 20 year old undergraduate student!!

Your Africa, My Africa

I hate your Africa.
It is a misconstructed concept that is nothing but a lie.
Yes, you heard me, it is a lie.
I am not hating on you honestly, I am not
But I hate your Africa, the one you showed the world.
Do you think that because you control the airwaves that you can just feed the world with a fabricated version of what you know?
Once again, I do not hat you, I just feel I deserve an apology.
What do you take us for? Fools? Imbeciles? An uninformed race?
I am sorry but I am about to change that.
Let me introduce you to my Africa.
My Africa is a fertile land flowing with milk and honey,
It is a land where world changers are raised and nurtured for future exploits.
Heard of Nelson Mandela, Bishop Desmond Tutu?
Oh... I aint done yet.
We are not a land ravaged with war and famine.
We don't get plagued with natural disasters on the regular... NO!
Not all of us are corrupt and irresponsible.
We do not find our identity based on your standards... you do not define us!
Our artistic abilities are to be reckoned with... It will blow your mind...
Heard of Soyinka... I am even going too far Chimamanda, Philip Emegwalii, Harry Itie???
Truth is we all have our issues, our shortcomings and our failures.
We know where we fall short and trust me we are working on it.
But please, it does not give you the right to constantly ridicule and put us down via the media.
It is not enough reason for you to drag our name in the mud... Please?
Come on, our reputation is at stake here.
You say we need help relief and blah blah blah and maybe we do need help,
But everybody needs help... are you forgetting you guys come around and take our resources to develop your nations?
It is either that is us offering you help or you guys are stealing from us.
Hmmmn....

Let me end with this story. a man is allowed to discipline his child when that child misbehaves. Even his family members can reprimand the child. If any member of an extended family, the family members can gather together to talk sense into the one messing up. It is allowed. But it is a BIG insult for an outsider to come and judge their matter... who send em??? You leave your house, come judge another person wahala... wetin concern crayfish with raincoat? Abomiantion!!! Toofia!!!

Please let us correct ourselves. We are the ones allowed to diss our nation. you are not so perfect yourselves. Don't say what you don't know and don't judge someone else's servant (Rom 14:4).

Do not be fooled by what you see. Africa is a star that will shine. Our time is coming and we are taking over. Once again, don't be moved by what you see, for what you see is temporary and the unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Let's live together in harmony and eagerly await the unveiling of the new Africa, My Africa!

Trotcha!!

Tinker Bell is the UN Ambassdor of Green

To some of you this is stale but to me...nah... This is a release from the site

25 October 2009 – The United Nations today named the Disney animated character Tinker Bell an “Honorary Ambassador of Green” to help promote environmental awareness among children.
The announcement came just prior to a screening at UN Headquarters in New York of the world premiere of the Walt Disney animated film, “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure.”

“We're delighted Tinker Bell has agreed to be our Honorary Ambassador of Green,” said Kiyo Akasaka, Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information. “This beloved animated character can help us inspire kids and their parents to nurture nature and do what they can to take care of the environment.”

Today's event is intended to promote environmental awareness in the lead-up to the UN climate change conference in Copenhagen in December, where countries will aim to 'seal the deal' on a new global agreement to curb greenhouse gas emissions.

Protecting the environment is an underlying theme of the Tinker Bell movies, according to the UN Department of Public Information (DPI), which adds that the Walt Disney Company uses its storytelling to inspire a love of nature and spirit of conservation in its audience.

In the latest film, Tinker Bell's greatest adventure takes place in autumn, as the fairies in Pixie Hollow are busy changing the colours of the leaves, tending to pumpkin patches and helping geese fly south for the winter. When Tinker Bell accidentally puts all of Pixie Hollow in jeopardy, she must venture out on a secret quest to set things right.

Tinker Bell Director Klay Hall, Producer Sean Lurie and cast members Mae Whitman (Tinker Bell) and Raven Symoné (Iridessa) are among those attending the premiere, which is being hosted by DPI as part of the Secretary-General's Creative Community Outreach Initiative.

The Initiative acts as a liaison between the UN and producers, directors, writers and new media professionals seeking a working relationship with the world body with the goal of raising awareness of critical global issues.

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will be discussing climate change with a group of children in Seattle today as he begins a three-day visit to the United States city. He is expected to stress the fact that one is never too young to make a difference and contribute to a cleaner and greener world.

What do you think? I think it is kinda cool... forget the fact that Raven is in the cast...  Here are pics from the premiere... Pictures courtesy Raven Daily

LOVE??????

This post is dedicated to my elder sister, Tsema Okoye. Happy Birthday Sis... I love you

What is love? People have different definitions of love but the most popular among Christian folk is that God is love and he loved us first and that we love him because he loved us first.

But someone asks how are you sure you love God if you have never been in love? I mean if you have never tasted milk; how are you sure that when someone actually offers you a glass of milk, the person is not offering you a soda.

I don't know if you feel me?

I was watching 'The Notebook' and Ryan Gosling who plays the role of Young Noah said something that I loved.

"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us wish for more; plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds"

Personally, I think this quote describes the love that God has for us. First, it awakens our soul. The love of God keeps us refreshed and we feel like we can get through the day and overcome what ever tribulation that cna come our way. Second, it makes us wish for more. Everyday spent in constant fellowship with God leaves us wanting more. It is so amazing when we don't want to leave whenever we are in His presence. this is because His love has a way of enveloping us and making us feel safe and secure. Thirdly, it plants a fire in our hearts. This is synonymous with being on fire for God. When we are at this point we can do ANYTHING for God and we are always eager to seek His face. The last is that it brings peace to our minds. That part is so amazing because Jesus is know as the Price of Peace. Hallelujah! When we experience the love of God, we know and we are confident that he watches over us and no evil can come near our dwelling... The Bible adds that He will fight for us and we shall have our peace.

With this understanding, we gradually get to the point where we are loving God more and more. We know that no HUMAN BEING on the face of the earth can love us the way he does. We begin to lonmg for His presence and we crave him like we are addicted... that is the point when we can genuinely say that we love the Lord and we will do anything for Him.

Trotcha!!!

PS: Remember what He did at Calvary. That is enough reason to love him. Enjoy this song by Sho Baraka.

Important Information from the Gospel Music Channel: Gospel Music Channel to Launch GMC HD Nov. 27

ATLANTA (Nov. 2, 2009) – Gospel Music Channel (GMC) announced today that it will launch GMC HD the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27.

In announcing the new GMC HD channel, Charles Humbard, founder and president of GMC said: “Like sports, no other genre of programming benefits as much from the High Definition experience as music. We have been aggressively producing original content and acquiring programming in high-def for quite some time in preparation for GMC HD. Affiliates and viewers have been asking for GMC in High Definition and the right time has come to provide it. We expect to announce affiliation agreements in time for the launch.”
GMC’s HD launch on Nov. 27 will occur in prime time at 8 PM ET with world HD premiere of Facing the Giants, called “the #1 inspirational movie since Passion of The Christ” followed by the exclusive world premiere of a new original concert featuring Switchfoot (10 PM ET).

Facing the Giants is an action-packed drama about a Christian high school football coach who uses his undying faith to battle the giants of fear and failure. The movie’s soundtrack includes artists who are regularly featured on GMC, including Casting Crowns, Third Day and Bebo Norman and Casting Crowns singer and songwriter Mark Hall will serve as host of the exclusive presentation.
Switchfoot then takes the GMC HD stage at 10 PM ET as the top-selling alternative rock band known for their energetic live shows is captured in a rare, intimate show produced as part of GMC’s signature music series Revealed.

Among the other programming highlights of GMC HD’s first weekend: GMC/GMC HD becomes “America’s Christmas Channel” for the holidays, including world premiere Christmas concerts by gospel/R&B great Ann Nesby (Nov. 29, 8 PM) and the very popular southern gospel group Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (Nov. 28, 9 PM) as well as original Christmas concerts featuring MercyMe, Jars of Clay and others.
GMC celebrated its fifth birthday last week (Oct. 30). The recent BETA Research survey of digital cable subscribers that showed GMC to be tied with NFL Network for #1 in overall perceived value was a resounding third-party endorsement of the high value that we deliver to our affiliates and viewers alike.
“Our rapid rate of growth in five short years, particularly the last few, and our growth in consumer value demonstrates that cable operators and their customers desire our family-friendly programming, and now they will be able to enjoy it in High Definition as well,” added Humbard.
GMC (http://www.gospelmusicchannel.com) is the fastest-growing network in television and can be seen in 45 million homes on various cable systems around the country, on DIRECTV on channel 338 and on Verizon FiOS on channel 224.

WHERE MY FRIENDS AT???

If I am the only one that gets like this then forgive me. Maybe it’s just how I am wired... i sincerely have no clue but this is the deal... I am feel my friends and i are drifting apart. I know it sounds strange but i have been feeling like that lately. I know my friends care for me and have my best interest at heart but at the same time... that is not enough. I cannot help but feel like they are doing what they do so that at least it will go down in the books that during so so and so period, they actually helped out. Besides, just because someone does stuff for you doesn’t mean they can’t turn around and hurt you. Trust me, i am speaking from experience.

Have you ever wondered why in movies and television shows, the protagonist is often surrounded with friend(s) that will do ANYTHING for him/her (Confessions of a Shopaholic, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Not Easily Broken, Picture This, The Brothers, The Other End Of The Line, Why Did I Get Married... the list goes on) or why do we find this group of friends who are tight and will go through their problems together (California Dreams, Friends, PS I Love You, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Cheetah Girls, That’s so Raven... the list still goes on). I don’t know if anyone still feels me. Those friends who make you feel important once in a while, the friends that will actually let you solve their problems for them, the friends that will tell you everything and you can tell them anything... you know the ones who will laugh with you, cry with you, do crazy things with you, the friend that will correct my actions in love, the friend that will not try to out-smart me, the friend that will not make me look stupid, the one that will know when i am joking or when i am serious... are you still with me?

I try honestly to enjoy my friendships and i try so hard to preserve them but it seems my efforts most times are in vain. I even decided at one point to try my best to understand people well so that i can get my attention of what was missing in my friendships. I felt that i was being selfish but really am i? I mean, during conversations they make statements that i never in a thousand years believed they could make or they do things that i don’t expect them to do. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t do bad things per se but they so little things hat just piss me off. The hard part is that considering the type of environment i am in, without the... fill in the blanks

I have a few people that i can say fit into this category and they are FEW. Most of them are not even my school so it gets hard. So many things i want to share i can’t. So many times i have been humiliated and belittled in the name of friendship. It even gets worse when your friends don’t even know when you are going through what you are going through. So i ask again... am i being selfish? I think about my friends a lot, long to see them, long to do things with them long to gist with them, long to share with them but they don’t do the same, i mean if they do we will not be typing this so...

I am asking where my friends at?? Where are y’all?? There is so much i need to tell you. So much has happened and i want to share. I want to be the one receiving advice, i have giving so much and i want someone to give me... things have happened so all my friends hola back!!!
